Another Day in Hawaii...

Some ocean swimming, a bit of surfing, a whole lot of sunshine, sand castles, paddling, just enjoying family. Tonight I will leave for Vancouver... bitter sweet...

I am so very thankful, EXTREMELY thankful that I am able to do what I love and LOVE what I do everyday. I know it is a blessing and one I never want to take for granted.

When I kiss and hug little Kainoa and Jim goodbye & jump on that plane I am going to hold back the tears and enjoy every minute of the training & racing in Canada. I am making that deal to myself and to them. No crying. Big girl undies (Liz I have told myself that 100,000 times today).

Bags are packed. Life is good, real good...

Have a good trip and look after your health while training and racing. I have a slight cold probably due to tiredness. So get good rest and be safe.

yup. I get to join you guys for the camp too!!! Have a good flight tonight. We're doing a lake swim at Thetis in the morning and then I'm going over to Van on the ferry with Janet, Dan, and Hillerie tomorrow at 1 so I'll be there in the afternoon. I had the joy of stuffing all the race packets this afternoon. It was a blast...but not nearly as many as we had to stuff for the New Balance Half a few weeks ago so that was good.

4:40:12 and about the 3rd best female. Pat just emailed me the link to the race results. Congratulations. Looked like the bike course was fairly tough. Great run to finish. I did not follow the race and look forward to reading your report. No doubt the coach will tell you some things that will make you even faster next time! Enjoy the training camp if you have any energy left for it.
