In between 2 Ironmans...

My second Ironman...

Today is officially the mid point between Ironman Japan (4.5 weeks ago) and IM Canada (4.5 weeks away). My goodness this was NOT my plan. But now I am more than THRILLED that it is happening this way...

Plan "A" was to just seal-the-deal in Japan. Get my Kona slot and hang out till Kona. Didn't happen... 3 minutes too late. I am officially fine with it (thanks coach for that). He has me SO EXCITED about IM Canada that I cannot even sleep at night... I bet I am feeling for IM Canada the way people feel when they get to come race IM Hawaii... feels unexplainable-ly(is that a word?) good.

Watching Hilary Biscay (who I totally love) race back-to-back Ironman's over the weekend made me realize that it is more than possible to handle the Iron sized load that comes with training & racing an Ironman... thanks Hil!

So one down, another to go, and I am feeling ready! With 4.5 weeks to go I could not be more excited! Ironman #3 of my life... see ya soon!

My First Ironman...
ps... Hooters went out of business, Kainoa needs a new finish line shirt... if you click the photo you can see he is a proud supporter of the chicken wings.

I'll tell everyone you said Hi tomorrow morning.

Had an almost PR at the TT tonight and Coach has me doing a Crit tomorrow too!

Enjoy your preparation for IMC and we'll be rooting for you. You mentioned Hooters and maybe that was bad news for you. I don't know. But at least I hope whoever moves in that spot won't require their female staff to half undress themselves to serve their evil male customers.

Wow did you wear that suit the whole time!? I figured you'd get sore after sitting on the bike so long. As I told you before I absolutely love that picture of you finishing with Kainoa!!! Such a fit strong and happy mom! Amazing to finish with your small baby in your arms! You will do great in 4.5 weeks!! Can't wait to follow your race. Courtney

Hee, hee. I can send Kainoa a Beef'O'Brady's shirt. Wings is our thing :-) Did you see any of those when you were in Florida? They are out of Tampa!

I personally think it was extremely hard to go to Japan and win the only pro slot for Kona. There are so many things that could screw that plan up. I hope Canada has more pro slots, and I am confident, on the back side of one of them, is written, Bree Wee :-)

ok. so when I read the Hooters comment, I was thinking you were talking about your own boobs.. I need some sleep! lol.

Instead of having to gear up for big traning, you got it banked! It'll be like skippin' stones... just hoppin' over the rocks, keeping the MOMENTUM.
