Yeehaw!!

A little too much fun in the HOT yoga class, I nearly knocked my sisters head off!
I feel like I am in the womb again with Brooke!

Talk about HOT, Longhorn 70.3! Never been there, but I am going. Mary was ranting and raving about the lake being 90* and the possibility of boiling in any sort of swim suit...so... she is swimming naked! GO MARY! The hottest place I know is Brooke's hot yoga class! I try to avoid it. I prefer the "gentle" yoga when I take a class. But gentle probably won't prepare me for the heat of TEXAS.
Everytime I take her class I drip pools of sweat and feel dizzy. . . I am not sure how healthy it is to do the sorts of things she has us do in there when it is 110*. But I figure if Austin really will be that hot I better prepare... I know, I know, Kona is hot. I keep hearing Texas is a "different" hot though. I am trying to get a treadmill put in her class, I am pretty sure that won't go over well with all the yogi's.
And the Ironman Kona Report: No new pro's in town just yet. The swells are up! The vog is back too, infact it reached 1500 tommes (something like that, not sure how they measure the Sulfur Dioxide, but it was higher than it has been). AND the sharks are out. Earlier in the week they closed Hapuna and Spencer's Beach due to the sharky business...
Happy Training!

I'll be in Austin too! I guess I'd better start the heat training. Maybe some laps in the hot tub?

Maybe we can meet up in Austin and ride our disc wheels and aero helmets around the block!

I love that middle picture! So cool.

Onwards and upwards..

Hey, you're not twins, are you? It never even occurred to me that you could be.. but you could.. which would explain the fastness! You, Michellie, Kate Major, lots of fast twins out there in the world!

I am cracking up at that picture of you two. Impressive!
I need hints on how to practice for heat too....I'm in Maine where it's down to ~40* tonight and heading to Florida for the 70.3!

I love that your son's cartoon taugth you something. Patience--can be so hard.
You have great things coming your way Bree. And I am so very excited to watch.
And by the way, because of your inspring stories, I work harder every time I head out to train. Thank you.

Being a pure Texan, you'll love Austin but the humidity could knock you a bit...no ocean breeze here! :)

I'll be at Longhorn as well - it would be awesome to get to see you there!

All the best.

Ok so the pictures of you and your sister doing yoga totally rock. I may need some pointers with my handstands -- it looks like you guys (at least one of you anyway) has them down pat. As for the weather here in Texas, you may get a break. It has been really cool here, especially in the mornings for about a month now so, I'm guessing the water temps won't be nearly as bad as last year. But don't let that stop you from enjoying your hot yoga classes!

Now, where did I read that they always take the temperature at Longhorn 70.3 in a special part of the lake that is ALWAYS 77.5 degrees? Hmmmm... Oh well....

Now, what's this about sharks? I promised Liz I would swim with her and tie some dead fish to my ankles. You know, run interference for her and all.

Guess I better chicken out now, while the gettin is good :-)

Those aren't sharks they're dolphins, just like the little blond girl in the Vonage commercial says!! "Look honey, the dolphins are playing"!!!!

It took me forever to figure out Brooke was your sister. Holy! The two of you on one page is too much!
I wish I was going to Austin. I have like 4 friends doing the race. Maybe they'll be lucky enough to meet you, like I was. I know you will GO BIG, because like they say, everything is bigger in Texas!
And if Lance is really supposed to be there I swear I am totally signing up!

Yay! Keith's races are the BEST! You must have met him at Timberman when you came for that. If you did not, you go right up to him at Longhorn and give him a hug and say.. TGP or Elaine sent this and if you REALLY want to butter up to him, bring him BEER! Mich Lite.
:-)Anywhooooo.. I'm sure Longhorn is very much like Timberman 1/2. TOP NOTCH.
Luv the pix of you and your sister. I'll be hangin' out with mine again this weekend.
Thank god for sisters, huh??
