Pure Love...

Today I had one of the most amazing swims ever... me and Lono! Lono is the new love of my life, all 500 pounds of him swam along with me (I had to wear the Blue Seventy to keep up)!

After our swim together I tried to kiss him, I was hoping he would turn into my prince charming...

Mahalo to Dolphin Quest Hawaii and Mclain Photography for the one of the greatest swims a girl could ever have!

That is it. I am moving to Hawaii.

If you can just train Lono to run as well as he swims, I think you found a good sub 3:00 marathon training partner...

bree,
i am so, so, SO envious. it's my lifelong dream to swim with dolphins like that.

i tried to find as natural a habitat that would let me when i was in hawaii and i found one woman, but she wasn't going out that day. drat!

i'm scared of swimming in the ocean here in california, but i do it JUST in case that will be the day that a pod joins us.

thank you so much for sharing the pics. what a fantastic opportunity!

mahalo!

Amazing pic's Bree. You look so at home in the water. I know you work your butt off to be a good swimmer but I think your other secret is out. Your training partners are way better swimmers then mine ;-)

I don't know what pics are better? The one with the dolphins or the delicious looking Empanada? Looks like Lono is drafting off you! Let him take some pulls! HAHA! Hey maybe you should try kissing a coqui frog. THAT MIGHT WORK! LOL!

Bree,

You have inspired me all year as a person first and an athlete second. Those pictures you just posted are unreal. A San Diego boy living here in cold/wet Germany get's homesick for water and surf. Thanks for posting them.

It's a good life...

You should be thankful Lono didn't turn into Prince Charming. You'd have 3 of them, and the 500 pound one would probably stop smiling because you weren't getting him krill fast enough, and wouldn't understand why you like to run, and what's a bike, and....

Amazing photos!
