40 more minutes...

Wilber, Leandro, Pablo, and me post IM Florida...

After 19 LONG hours of travel (Florida is SO FAR), I only have 40 more minutes to go. Stuck in Oahu... waiting...for a flight to Kona...considering swimming home...

My favorite thing to do while waiting (and I do a lot of that) is to make plans. Coach & Travis told me to STOP making plans if they have anything to do with next season. So I made plans for Kainoa and me. A top 10-do list now that I am home with my boy!

1. Pull Kainoa out of school early. I am doing that this morning, whenever I get to Kona!
2. Visit the new pet shop
3. Jamba Juice visits EVERYDAY after school for a week!
4. Visit the library
5. Play at the arcade (we have hundreds of tickets we have yet to trade)
6. Finger paint- I make a mess, he makes a mess but we both love it (just don't love cleaning it!)
7. Play at the beach and pool till we start to prune
8. Buy more books and READ together.
9. Make Shans Weezle Balls
10. Visit the veggie market to get more veggies to juice

Happy Off-season (if you take one!)

.

Yay reading! So important for the little guy, and so fun. It's one of the things I miss most now that my little bug is old enough that she reads all by herself now.

I'm trying to make it to the january swim camp. I'm moving to Tacoma sometime in the first or second week and have to make the 3000 mile drive so my car will be there too so it just depends on how all that lines up with the swim camp. I sure hope so though. I need a good butt whipping in the pool. swimming alone sucks. haha.

Oh man, I don't think it's ever taken me 19 hours to get there. But one time it did take about 19 hours to get back to Orlando (lesson learned: do not fly through Denver or Chicago in the winter).

Fun plans with Kainoa. Look forward to seeing you guys in December!

I've never taken 19 hours to get to Kona from Taiwan unless I overnighted in Tokyo. Maybe I live closer to Kona than your folk in Florida. Blessings!

Hey Bree, think we just posted a comment on Rachel's blog at the same, great minds think alike or should I say fast triathletes think alike. Does this mean no more Honolulu Marathon and chasing that elusive 3 hour barrier?

Congrats on the Kona spot. Now you get to do the races you want to do in the way you want to do them without worrying about having to qualify. 2009 should be a lot of fun. Enjoy the journey.
