Estoy Aqui!!

Today my run was off the beaten path, a dusty trail smothered between banana trees and palm trees. 3x1 mile repeats never went by so fast... yes, I am running everyday I am here...and loving every step of it. For cool down I walked along the black sand beach of Playa Hermosa and let my feet land where the ocean meets the shore...simple...beautiful...

Life is still slow here, even though so much has changed it is the same... pura vida and 10 O'clock breaks just because...

Today I spent a lot of time catching up with friends and playing on the beach.

The evening was a beautiful sunset, a grill out, and a bon fire...

Of course the day could not go by without talk of Kainoa... Juan was the very first friend I ever had in Costa Rica (we have stayed friends since 1997!). So we traded stories of Kainoa (my son) and Malia (his daughter). One of these days I have to bring Kainoa here... he would love all the stray dogs and the sand castles just waiting to be built!

Tomorrow is a 90 minute hill run and I have JUST the HILL... I am running from Playa Hermosa to the end of Jaco and back... ouch...

Cheers to having sandy feet and a shell in your pocket!

Glad you got to CR OK Bree. Looks like you settled in and got some visiting and workouts already!! It looks like a great place to see and enjoy. It beats the bike trainer when the temps are below freezing for sure!!!
Have a great week!!!! The surf boards must be waiting for you :)

Well, I know what "Besame Mucho" on the T-shirt hanging to dry means, but not the word "O'Neill". I would like to be there, too. They have plenty of bananas. Juan in the picture is certainly in his "Element" (a skateboard brand that I am familiar with through our sons). Enjoy your time.
