Let's get this party started!

21 days looks like this for Kainoa and I... carry on (pink bag), all the other stuff (Da Kine bag), Costa Rica stuff (board bag)... NOW that is packing!!

Kainoa and I are headed to sunny Sarasota Florida! 21 days off the island... that means we had to pack smart!! I packed TOO many bikinis (those are for Costa Rica), jeans (rumor has it Florida is cold again), run shoes, a surf board, 5 shorts, 3 shirts, Christmas gifts, no bike, underwear, slippers, my camera, Kainoa's things, stuff for the children in Costa Rica, and that is about it... 21 days looks like this "Bree and Kainoa style"...

Run nutrition... Coach and I made an agreement, I will RUN in CR since I am leaving the bike on the island.
Swim stuff for Florida...
Bikini's...
Fins, leash, board, wax, leg roller...

Kainoa's airplane snacks...

Christmas gifts (unwrapped of course!)

Some of the school supplies for the students in Costa Rica...

A girls best friend, her slippers!
Don't worry, I fed Mango, I left him an old banana and lilikoi...

Off to get a REAL Florida orange! Kona crew I WILL MISS YOU!

Bree! I'm impressed with your packing. I have a horrible habit of overpacking and always being right on the brink of that weight limit per bag at the airport (50lbs. haha). have fun in Costa Rica!!! I might be able to catch the end of the swim camp (week 2). My mom and I are leaving Nashville on the 7th or 8th so I'm hoping to be in Tacoma by the 11th and hop a ferry a day or two later so maybe I'll see you then!

I had a "Mango" when I lived in Kona...except I called him "Stumpy" because he had a short tail...and he used to drink any left over Jamba Juice.

I guess you will have the advantage of checking in two suitcases for Kainoa in which his stuff will take up very little space, leaving plenty for your school supplies, etc. When in Florida ask your friends for good children's second hand clothing and take as much as you can with you to give to the kids in CR. I am sure they will love you all the more for it.
When I come to taking my next trip, I will use this post of yours as a reference - swim paddles, speedos, goggles, nutrition, etc. I can't go far wrong. And don't forget your passport!

Good to see your keeping that competitive edge even on vacation. Got that vented aero kiddie seat dialed in...

Everyone should be lucky enough to do a workout including clandestine horse touching.
Enjoy!
