I'm In Trouble...

My mom warned me...

"Bree, when you have a child it is usually a small version of yourself". Pretty much she was warning me that ALL the "wonderful" things I did growing up to make her life "wonderful" I will endure as a mom...

Kainoa is perfect. Really. He eats EVERYTHING. Goes to bed at 7pm. Wakes up with a smile. Picks up his mess. Behaves in the car seat. Helps with chores. Looks both ways to cross the road. Is a GREAT student. Doesn't sit in front of the TV or a video game all day. He's WAY better than me...

Really, I was blessed.

This morning on the way to school something changed. He looked nice & innocent as always. I just adore these moments, I love taking him to school. I turned back...and it was a different story... I am in trouble... I hope his teacher does not look in his pocket...

And just when I thought triathlon was wearing me out...he discovered girls...

.

Do tell, what was in his pocket???

Do not be afraid of these girls, but be very afraid of the girls that he will encounter in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade!

It's not you that should be worried; 'tis the fathers of all those pre-school girls who will be growing up with such a chick magnet around. It's hardly sporting when the boy is so gorgeous.

ha!!! that last picture is hilarious!! yep, I can't even say anything to try and lie to you - TROUBLE is on its way but look at it this way - nothing is more entertaining than watching a child grow and figure out the world - although it can be incredibly uncomfortable at times too :) I had the "pleasure" of watching my son try to get the nerve up to ask a girl to a movie -i was dying for him. And, my daughter has recently changed her name and insists I call her by her new name. It's all good but my mother also enjoys watching the payback take place!!

ADORABLE! Wait until he comes home and says, "Mom, is it ok to kiss a girl?" WHEN THEY ARE 5 or 6!!!! They go thru this "cute" stage with girls and then they swear them off - Graham is 7 and thinks girls are "ick"....at least for now. But, yes, we are all in trouble...At least Graham thinks that babies just "happen" in mommy stomachs and come out our belly buttons. Errr, maybe that is not a good thing!!? :)) haha.
